The Facts about Urinary Incontinence....

Many people who have urinary incontinence (UI) know something is wrong, but they don’t know what to do about it.  At Holy Redeemer Home Care, we are finding new ways to offer valuable services to men and women with incontinence, their families, and their caregivers.  Let us tell you about four steps you can take to understand and get help for incontinence. *

Four steps to understand and get help for incontinence:

  1. Learn the causes of urinary incontinence.

  2. Understand that urinary incontinence is very common, but it is not a natural part of the aging process.

  3. See your doctor to find out the cause and type of urinary incontinence you are experiencing.

  4. Get treatment.  In most cases, urinary incontinence can be successfully treated, or reversed.
